With a ceremonial ribbon-cutting, the 2014 Boston Globe Travel Show opened its doors to the public on the evening of Friday, Feb. 7. The ninth annual show continued through this last weekend at Boston’s Seaport World Trade Center.
Attendees had the opportunity to visit nearly 200 booths representing destinations in the Caribbean, Florida, Canada, Africa, Europe, Central and South America, and Asia Pacific.
Lux Invicta stood out as being the one and only incoming travel agency promoting Portugal as a tourism destination to discover, selling day tours, tour packages throughout the country and historical events.

Noted travel writer Patricia Schultz, author of “1,000 Places to See Before You Die,” took to the cultural stage to present a slide show and informative tour of 20 worldwide destinations.
