TAP Portugal already flies to Toronto, Canada, with a frequency of five times a week. With half a million Portuguese living in Canada, the bet in Toronto reinforces the strategy of the national airline in North America, after the opening a year ago of the routes to Boston and New York, to the airport of JFK, both in the United States.
To the greater Canadian city, routes are joined for Stuttgart, in Germany, and for Spain, destined to Gran Canaria and Alicante.
For Bucharest, Romania and Budapest, Hungary, TAP Portugal will begin the flights on July 1 with six weekly flights to the first destination and seven flights to the second.
